                               ORDINANCE NO. 10602
                
                 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                 LOCATED SOUTHWEST FROM EAST 18TH STREET,
                 BETWEEN LYERLY STREET AND WATKINS STREET, MORE
                 PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                
                                                    
                
       	    	 SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
       CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
       and abandoned an alley located southwest from East 18th Street,
       between Lyerly Street and Watkins Street, more particularly
       described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a 

       part hereof by reference:
            A 15 foot wide unopened alleyway beginning on the
            southwest line of East 18th Street 150 feet southeast of
            the intersection of the southwest line of East 18th
            Street with the southeast line of Lyerly Street, and
            extending southwest 416 feet between parallel lines, and
            parallel to Lyerly Street, to the northeast line of East
            19th Street.  Said alley separates lots 1-8 from lots
            9-16, Brocks Addition to Ridgedale, as shown by plat of
            record in plat book 5, page 7, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
            156F-H-18 and 19.
           
       	    	 SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
       shall be effective two (2) weeks from and after its passage as
       provided by law.
